Welcome to my Home

If you are reading this you were either intrigued by the title, you are one of my friends, or you are simply someone who enjoys reading blogs. Either way, welcome! This is a place to laugh, read, comment, discuss, view pictures, cry if needed, feel inspired and get lost in my experiences as a college student in real time. This blog is a mix of fun stories, my thoughts, and my advice on the world.

My name is Cheyenne, and I am a senior at the University of Michigan studying Psychology and Women’s Studies. No, I won’t analyze you, and yes, I do shave my legs. I have a strong passion for writing, and intend on using this passion for good! Whether this be influencing social change or simply spreading joy and smiles, I am extremely lucky to be able to express myself freely.

Now, about that title. One year ago, I moved into a house with six other girls. We are fun, loud, smart, strong, and all have fantastic hygiene when it isn’t finals week. This year, I still live in the same house now with only five other girls. But to make up for that, four of my friends moved in next door! So that makes ten of us total. In my house, we share one shower in our 100-year-old house (yes, it is actually 100 years old). It hasn't caused many problems, but is definitely a defining factor of our home.

I truly believe that when you have amazing people around you, this is when thoughts and imagination can be discussed and come to life. So here is my way of saying welcome to my home. I hope you enjoy.

Xoxo,

Cheyenne
